Homebody (At Home)

Recently I’ve had several people ask if our home looks anything like our brick and mortar shop. That has been easy to answer, with a smile and a resounding YES! Homebody is definitely an expression of us and what we love; just about anything in the shop would fit in nicely in our home. Of course, it’s easy for pretty much anything to fit in when there are items from all over–family pieces, myriad things from our travels and life overseas, gifts, found objects, amateur artwork, and new and vintage objects from shops we like.

Below, I give you a peek at our living room, in all its high/low glory, colorful cheer, and well-loved bohemian chaos.

Is it a bit scary to think what it must look like inside our heads? Unfortunately (or not), I can’t show you that!

But stay tuned for more house photos, and I’ll be sharing the provenance of various items, as I do love telling stories! For proof of that, you can check out my former blogs, from Germany and from Japan.
